GReddy Mazda RX-7 FD3S Ver. 2 T-19 V-Mount Intercooler w/o Breather Tank

Initially designed for a drag racing set-up, the GReddy V-mounted Type-19 Intercooler / TWR Radiator kit for the Mazda (FD3S) RX-7, is also very popular with circuit track cars with aero hoods. It features our renown, light-weight, tube and inner-fin, 3row air to air core, that measures L400xH266xW100mm with high-flow cast end-tanks and our high-capacity TWR L631xH355xW48 aluminum radiator. The two coolers each have specially designed bracketry to mounted the pair in an ideal "V" configuration. This favors engine cooling for the radiator, while still providing great flow and minimizing intercooler piping length for improved turbo response. The provided air diversion panels help direct air from the front bumper opening to the two heat exchangers for maximum air-flow and cooling.

There are three main kit types for the newer V2 design with the newer Airinx S air filters, a more basic kit p/n 12040703 for vehicles with upgraded turbo(s.) This leaves the "hot-pipe" and air intake open for the user to build their own custom layout. Then there are two more-complete kits which include the all the intercooler piping (with a model specific cast elbow for the turbo outlet) and suction tubes along with twin, strategically-located, open-air Airinx S air intake filters. p/n 12040704 for the "Zenki" earlier-model FD3S and p/n 12040705 for the "Kouki" later-model FD3S. All three kits include the iconic cast aluminum GReddy 13B-REW compression pipe, "cold-pipe" Type 19 Intercooler, TWR radiator, GReddy Radiator Breather tank and a system to modify the power-steering cooler.

GReddy Intercooler Kits
The addition of an efficient, light-weight tube and fin GReddy intercooler is one of the best ways to safely increase horsepower in a turbocharged engine. By reducing the engine's inlet temperatures, a denser air charge will enter the engine; this can make more horsepower at the same boost level and even more power at higher boost levels. Even if there is a factory-installed intercooler, generally these stock units are not ideal even for factory boost levels. They are usually mounted in awkward locations and become very susceptible to heat saturation. They are not ideal for increased boost levels.

GReddy TW-R Aluminum Radiators
Made completely of aluminum, the high-performance two row core keeps consist temperatures even under extreme conditions. The heavy-duty aluminum end-tanks also feature a pre-drilled tapped port for installing an aftermarket temperature (JDM 1/8 i.e. 1/8BSP) probe (like our GReddy Temp Gauge).

This O.E. style unit incorporates all of the factory mounting, fan shroud, cap and connection points for easy installations.
